Taipei, Taiwan - Axiomtek launches a new rugged IP66-rated 8.5-inch WVGA TFT fanless touch panel computer designed especially for vehicle application. The GOT-808 has passed the IP66 test by SGS and received the vehicle-grade, eMark. The heavy-duty panel computer features wide operating temperature (-10°C ~ +50°C) for indoor & outdoor applications, and can be operated via Ethernet or optional wireless connections (802.11a/b/g/n wireless support). This ultra compact unit utilizes Intel® Atom(TM) processor N455 1.66 GHz with Intel® ICH8M chipset to offer great performance-per-watt. Axiomtek's GOT-808 is an exceptional solution for operation in vehicle and marine applications, extreme weather environments and any mobile application such as crane and machine tool.

Robust design ideal for any harsh conditions
The GOT-808 consists of IP66-rated water/dust-proof stainless steel housing and six IP66-rated connectors designed to protect the entire system from outside damage. The front bezel is constructed of stainless type 316 to resist corrosion. This robust unit is also verified by marine-grade salt mist test and eMark certification for vehicle applications. It supports anti-scratch interactive touchscreen (5-wire resistive or capacitive type) up to 7H to ensure operation stability and durability. To withstand extreme range of working temperatures, Axiomtek has equipped the GOT-808 to perform in temperatures ranging from -10°C to +50°C.
ISO7637 vehicle-grade power supply
The built-in power supply is ISO7637 certified according to the power protection standard, which enabled the system to obtain eMark certification. The power supply offers 9 ~ 36VDC, and it supports both ACC on delay and ACC off delay.
Rich I/O and more features
GOT-808 accommodates numerous I/Os; one RS-232 (RS-422/485 as option), two USB 2.0 and one Gigabit Ethernet port for attachment to external peripherals. It can stand shock and vibration up to 2G for CompactFlashTM for system reliability. More rich features include one PCIe Mini Card slot for flexible expansion, VESA ARM kit for different installation scenarios and one DDR3 SO-DIMM socket maximum up to 2 GB. The new robust HMI offers full compatibility with the Windows® XP, Windows® CE.NET, Windows® XP Embedded (XPE) and Windows® 7.
