VCO: CLV1681A-LF Features Ultra Low Phase Noise



SAN DIEGO, July 18, 2008: Z-Communications, Inc. is proud to announce a new RoHS compliant oscillator (CLV1681A-LF) in L-band (1651-1711 MHz) featuring ultra low typical phase noise of -97dBc/Hz @10kHz offset. The unique design covers the bandwidth between 2-4.4 V and offers typical tuning sensitivity of 59 MHz/V.

This VCO is designed to deliver a typical power output of 0 dBm at 5V DC supply while drawing only 11 mA (typical) over the extended operating temperature range of -40º to 85ºC. CLV1681A-LF comes in Z-Comm's industry standard MINI package with low shield measuring 0.50 in. x 0.50 in. x 0.13 in. This amazing VCO is ideal for automated surface mount assembly and reflow. It is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements.
