The R3120 delivers smooth cutting performance, featuring a durable die-cast gearbox that reduces vibration significantly over comparable models for increased user productivity. Its powerful 6 Amp motor and variable speed dial with electronic feedback (1,000 to 3,000 SPM) means the jig saw will maintain cutting speed through almost any material.
A first-time feature on a jig saw are auto-stop brushes that protect the motor. Unlike normal accessible brushes, which must be inspected for wear and replaced before they can damage the motor, the auto-stop brushes halt motor operation when the brushes are worn, before they can damage the motor, eliminating the need to inspect them.
The saw features five orbital cut settings for maximum versatility when working with different materials, and an adjustable base for making beveled cuts. Tool-less blade change capability ensures that changing blades is a quick and easy process.
