The VLT® AQUA Drive from Danfoss Water & Wastewater Is Now Available in a NEMA/UL Type 4X Enclosure
Provides maximum protection against the elements
MILWAUKEE, WI -- Danfoss Water & Wastewater's highly popular VLT® AQUA Drive is now available in a NEMA/UL Type 4X (IP66) enclosure solution. This enclosure is rated for indoor or outdoor use and protects personnel against incidental contact with enclosed equipment while protecting the drive from falling dirt, rain, sleet, snow, ice, windblown dust, splashing water, hose-direct water, and corrosion. Available power sizes in the NEMA/UL Type 4X enclosure include 5-60 HP in 230VAC and 10-125 HP in 480 and 600VAC. The VLT® AQUA Drive is also available with a NEMA/UL Type 1 or NEMA/UL Type 12 (IP54/55) enclosure.
Engineered with specially designed software for water and wastewater applications, the VLT® AQUA variable frequency drive provides seamless installation, commissioning, operation and system maintenance in the water and wastewater industry. A streamlined and compact design enables easy integration into even the tightest installation spaces.
The new VLT® AQUA Drive significantly improves system efficiency in applications such as water supply, treatment, distribution, pressure and level control, irrigation, and wastewater applications such as pumps and blowers where speed, pressure and/or level control are critical.
