Manufactured to withstand harsh voltage spikes specific to variable frequency motors, Alpha Wire's SERIES V Cables incorporate several critical design features that safeguard
motors and system components, including thermoset insulation to help prevent meltdown during corona discharge and voltage spikes, tightly-fitted shields to reduce the probability of corona discharge, and large insulation walls to reduce capacitance.
SERIES V High Performance, Small Diameter Variable Frequency Drive Cables are the ideal choice to connect variable speed drives and control systems to variable frequency motors - improving performance by delivering consistent pulsed width modulation (PWM), and increasing system up-time by dispersing voltage spikes, harmonics, corona discharges, and power distortion.
