VariFlex Variable Frequency AC Drives
December 12, 2005 - Buffalo Grove, IL - Carlo Gavazzi has launched a new range of compact AC drives called the VariFlex Series, which are ideal for most industrial motor control applications.
The VariFlex drives can handle most general purpose three phase motor control applications from 1/3 to 5 Hp and offer features and options typically found on much more sophisticated drives. The ten most commonly used drive parameters are listed right on the front cover, which is sufficient for 90% of the applications. A remote keypad is also available.Our drives reduce the installation costs and are easy to use and connect, thanks to their user-friendly software.
The VariFlex drives are available in three frame sizes (A, B and C), covering mains voltages from 180 to 528VAC. They universally accept both single-phase and three-phase supply voltages. The overall dimensions have been carefully limited to minimize required space within the electrical enclosure, with widths measuring less than three inches.
What really sets the VariFlex apart from other drives are the standard Modbus capabilities and the ability to quickly clone the programming from one drive to others via the compact SmartStick. It also provides a variety of fieldbus options and PLC functionality - thus saving even more electrical enclosure space.
