EAO watertight, vandal resistant keypads. EAO introduces watertight, vandal resistant keypads ideally suitable for harsh industrial/commercial environments due to their component make-up. Each keypad is constructed using a durable click-dome matrix and is enclosed by a protective, silicone rubber case. Individual keys are mounted over the click-domes to create an operator surface with a high/positive level of user tactile feedback. These keypads also meet an IP67 level of protection when mounted behind a panel -preferred characteristics when withstanding the rigors of harsh public interaction/applications. EAO offers 8, 12, 16 and 20-keys versions as standard units with a choice of plastic or anti-pull-off metal keys. The AVLE model is also available illuminated in your choice of colors including red, green, or yellow LED's. Other LED colors are available upon request. The layout of keys can be varied depending upon the model. Keys can be doubled-up to provide extra wide function buttons ideal for payment terminals, banking, and ATM applications - for example: ENTER, CANCEL, or CORRECT keys. Keys can also be removed in order to leave spacing gaps when working with custom layouts. A variety of key colors and your choice of engravings from an infinite number of symbols also are available.
