Brushless DC Metering Pump Provides Valveless Fluid Control for Process Instrumentation
The NEW valveless Fluid Transfer Pump from Fluid Metering, Inc. (FMI) delivers precision fluid control for process instrumentation.
FMI’s Valveless, Fluid Transfer Pump integrates CeramPump® pumping technology with the long life performance of a brushless DC motor and integral driver electronics. All that is needed is a simple 24VDC input power supply making FMI’s Fluid Transfer Pump an easy drop-in for existing instrumentation designs.
FMI’s unique CeramPump® valveless piston fluid control technology utilizes one moving part, a rotating and reciprocating ceramic piston to accomplish all fluid control functions within the pump, thereby eliminating the need for check valves typical of reciprocating pump designs. Sapphire-hard, dimensionally stable ceramic internal components substantially outperform peristatic pumps, whose accuracy is dependent on the memory and integrity of flexible tubing.
