Leslie's S-Transfer Parallel Valve System Eliminates Valve "Popping"


The simple, versatile S-Transfer Parallel Valve System from Leslie Controls handles extremely wide load variations that are beyond the range of a single valve. A combination of control valves and regulators "transfer" flow to the valve best suited for the current steam load. In a new installation or as a retrofit, it resolves poor control situations, safety valve "popping" problems and intermittent steam main pressure problems.

The "brains" of the S-Transfer System is a pneumatic switch that selects which of two parallel circuits will be active and prevents oscillation between circuits. Only one valve is open at a time and neither valve throttles close to its seat. The result is more accurate control, less valve wear and less maintenance.
