Flowserve to Launch New Solutions at Power-Gen International 2003
Products include the Multi-Z, the ultimate boiler feed-pump entrained solids flow control solution
(Irving, TX, USA: December 3, 2003) Flowserve Corporation (www.flowserve.com), a leading global manufacturer of fluid motion and control products and services, announces the launch of new automation and control solutions at POWER-GEN International 2003, December 9 -11 (booth 8337), at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV.
At the show, Flowserve Flow Control will showcase its latest offerings in high-performance, high-reliability control and isolating valves, actuators, and repair solutions, and its advanced asset management, diagnostics, and predictive maintenance programs for both the nuclear and fossil power industry.
Flowserve will also launch its new, severe service control valve, the Multi-Z-the ultimate boiler feed-pump recirculation control valve solution for entrained solids flow control. The Flowserve Multi-Z is designed specifically to handle high-pressure drop applications where entrained solids and cavitation are a problem. Ideal for system startup and boiler feed-water recirculation, the Multi-Z is the only valve certified and tested by a boiler feed-pump manufacturer.
The Multi-Z features a multistage trim design that eliminates cavitation and provides extended trim life. Its unique venturi outlet nozzle provides further trim and seat protection from high velocity, cavitation and flashing, and its linear multistage plug design provides greater rangeability and higher throttling resolution.
At POWER-GEN, the Flowserve Industrial Services Group-certified support for all brands on the market-will demonstrate how Flowserve customers can benefit from process control and device diagnostics all in one. Flowserve will also feature its new online asset management and predictive maintenance solution, Flowstar.net, the very latest in equipment management applications.
Also on display at the booth are the Flowserve VariCool and Vapor Cool desuperheating products; ZK 313 severe service control valves; new Gestra bimetallic steam traps; Edward Valves 4014 MY-4" Y-pattern valve; the 12111 forged gate valve from Vogt Valves; the Limitorque SMB series and MX series actuators; and the new Limitorque Master Station II-a next generation master station that is designed and manufactured by Limitorque specifically for use with the Limitorque line of DDC-100 field units. New Flowserve networking solutions to be shown are the enhanced Foundation Fieldbus, Profibus, Modbus and Hart interface functionality for a variety of flow control products, including control valves, actuators, and positioners.
