Parker Fluid Control Releases New Line of Valve Manifold Assemblies

Ready-to-Install Manifold is the Latest Addition to Parker's Line of Car Care Applications

NEW BRITAIN, CT/April 3, 2006 - Parker Fluid Control Division, manufacturers of the Skinner and Gold Ring lines of solenoid valves and the Sinclair Collins line of process control valves, is now offering a two-way manifold assembly in its line of car care applications. The assembly features ready-to-install fittings, and appears in the company's recently released car care catalog.

The direct-acting manifold contains two-way, normally closed valves with a common inlet port and individual outlet ports. The common inlet port allows the water and chemical supply to flow to all valves in the assembly. Metering options permit chemical dispensing or slow closure of valves to remove water hammer effects within water lines.

Assemblies are available with two, three, four or six stations, and can arrive ready for installation with fittings already assembled as part of the manifold. Available in brass and 303 stainless steel, the manifold is manufactured with ¼" NPT connections and offers a 120/60 Class F IP67 AC DIN coil. All standard coil voltages and DIN coil connectors can be offered with the package as well.

Car care applications for the multiple-unit assembly, which can operate with temperatures up to 180ºF, include on-off control of water, soaps, detergents, chemicals and compressed air service. Additionally, the valve is suitable for air, inert gas and water with a maximum of 180 psi.
