Valve Driver offers 160 µsec valve open time.

Press Release Summary:

Capable of synchronizing gas flow with pulsing lasers, Iota One precision valve driver system offers pulse duration ranges in µsec, msec, or longer with internally-generated pulse trains achieved by setting on/off times or operating frequency. Self-contained, rack-mountable system includes front panel BNC jacks for both I/O TTL signals. Single- and multi-channel units produce repetition rates up to 250 (maximum 50% duty cycle) and 999 Hz, respectively.

High-Speed Valve Driver Offers 160 Microsecond Valve Open Time to Precisely Synchronize Gas Flow with Pulsing Lasers

CHICAGO, FEB. 26, 2007 - The laboratory-ready Iota One precision valve driver system from Parker Hannifin's Pneutronics Division is ideal for research laboratories and critical laser spectroscopy application. The Iota One is a self-contained, rack-mountable system that supplies extremely repeatable control and synchronization of gas flow and laser firing. Its driver offers pulse duration ranges in microseconds, milliseconds, or longer, with internally-generated pulse trains achieved by setting on and off times or an operating frequency. Two externally triggered modes can be selected allowing partial or complete external control.

In addition, the Iota One includes front panel BNC jacks for both input and output TTL signals. The single channel unit produces repetition rates up to 250 Hertz (maximum 50-percent duty cycle), while the multi-channel unit produces repetition rates up to 999 Hertz.

The Pneutronics Division of Parker Hannifin provides precision control of inert and aggressive gas and liquid media through its full range of high performance miniature fluidic products and systems.
