Vaisala at the Meteorological Technology World Expo 2012


Helsinki, Finland - Vaisala, the global leader of environmental measurement, will be attending and speaking at the Meteorological Technology World Expo 2012 in Brussels, Belgium October 16-18th 2012. The exhibition will bring together key decision makers from weather related fields to share and exhibit the latest technologies and trends of the industry.

16 industry experts from Vaisala will be present at the exhibition, contributing to discussions on the very latest weather, hydro-meteorological and climate measurement, analysis and forecasting technologies. Furthermore, Vaisala will be showcasing a range of new products, the new operational radiosonde ground system MW41, being the most anticipated. New developments in the field of weather radar signal processing and surface observations will also be on show.

On day two of the conference, Aki Lilja, Offering Team Leader at Vaisala, will discuss dual polarization weather radars and the various factors contributing to their performance. "Vaisala's C Band dual polarization weather radars are state of the art and proven to be a tremendous success, including and especially in the tropics, where challenging weather conditions demand for specific considerations.
