Nilfisk-Advance America Cleans Up at IEFP 2002 with Powerful, Continuous-Duty Vacuum

Food-processing vacuuum prevents product contamination while efficiently collecting bulk debris

Chicago, November 4, 2002 - Industrial vacuum cleaner manufacturer Nilfisk-Advance America is showcasing its heavy-duty CFM 3507W vacuum at the International Exposition for
Food Processors (November 3-7, McCormick Place, Chicago, Booth 7741). Designed to help plant and sanitation managers improve the safety and hygiene of their food-processing facilities,
the CFM 3507W enables the safe, continuous collection of a wide variety of materials - including fine powders - within virtually any food plant environment.

"Plant and sanitation managers in the food-processing industry face contamination and waste removal issues that are unique," said Mike D'Agostino, product manager for Nilfisk-Advance
America. "Our CFM 3507W is designed to help these managers prevent costly product recalls due to contamination by micro-organisms and allergens, simplify compliance with FDA and
HACCP regulations, and virtually eliminate product contamination. With the CFM 3507W, they can eliminate the spread of dangerous contaminants often distributed by conventional cleaning methods - and even inadequately filtered vacuums."

About the CFM 3507W Continuous-Duty Vacuum
The CFM 3507W food-processing vacuum is ideal for continuous-duty, process-integrated applications including packaging, filling, bagging, and mixing. Its efficiency is largely due to the vacuum's unique filtration system, which enables workers to operate the vacuum for long, uninterrupted periods without clogging or requiring maintenance. Once materials are collected,
they travel through the vacuum's multi-stage filtration system -proven to retain food particles and harmful bacteria down to 0.3 microns in size. This system utilizes oversized main filters to resist premature filter clogging and help maintain maximum air power. The materials are then deposited in a large-capacity 26-gallon tank, which prevents workers from having to repeatedly
stop production to empty a smaller tank (an optional tilt hopper increases tank capacity to 105 or 210 gallons). The filtration system's automatic shut-off feature prevents overloading and the associated downtime.

Nilfisk-Advance America's CFM 3507W is also available in stainless steel for easy cleaning.

In addition to the CFM 3507W, Nilfisk-Advance America will showcase its full range of Nilfisk and CFM industrial vacuums for food-processing applications, including intermittent-duty,
continuous-duty, and wet/dry vacuums at IEFP.
