New Low-Cost VacuMini Vacuum Sensor Features Compact Size, Rugged Construction, and Trouble-Free Operation
Televac/ETI, a leading ISO 9001:2000 manufacturer of vacuum measurement sensors, instrumentation, and filaments, has announced availability of a commercial version of their highly successful 2A sensor as used by NASA.
The new, low-cost, VacuMini Thermocouple Vacuum Sensor features a compact size (approx. 2"L x ½" dia), rugged yet simple design for trouble-free operation, and a machined 304 SS body with 1/8"NPT connection threads and integral wrench flats for ease of installation with other end connections available.
Designed to be operated in any physical orientation with range from 1 millitorr to 20 torr, VacuMini's electrial pins are recessed within the sensor body and protected from moisture and dirt by a tethered and gasketed military-type screw-on weather cap.
Typical application use includes fixed and mobile bulk cryogenic storage and transport vessels, vacuum jacketed gas delivery manifolds, mechanical vacuum pumps and blowers, and house vacuum systems.
