New 4-Inch Powder and Pellet Vacuum Receiver
SALINA, KS-Premier Pneumatics, Inc.'s new 4-inch Series³ 2424 Powder and Pellet vacuum receivers provide a high capacity sequencing system designed to handle powder, pellet, regrind and granular materials for railcar unloading, silo-to-daybin transfer or in-plant transfer applications up to 15,000 pounds per hour.
The receiver's standard construction is carbon steel, primed and painted with an epoxy-coated interior and an enamel-coated exterior. It is also available with stainless steel material contact areas.
The Series³ 2424 Powder and Pellet vacuum receivers has a 22-inch diameter housing with a 4-inch inlet, a single cartridge with 50 sq. ft. of washable polyester filter medium and a 10-inch gravity discharge gate. The hopper has a capacity of 5 cu. ft. and a conveying rate from 5,000 - 15,000 pph. A modified Modular Cartridge Bin Vent head with a 4-inch air control valve provides automatic pulse cleaning, if required.
All Series³ receivers are available with controls suitable for use with either a solid state microprocessor controller or a programmable logic controller. Both control systems utilize 24 VDC low voltage and are available with installation kits making installation easy and more economical.
