Static Dissipative Vacuum Hose Features Molded Cuff and Grounding Wire



A new static dissipative vacuum hose that is FDA-acceptable for use in clean rooms and features a friction-fitting molded cuff and grounding wire is being introduced by Hi-Tech Hose, Inc. of Georgetown, Massachusetts.

Hi-Tech SDH Series static dissipative vacuum hose is extruded from a specially formulated thermoplastic polyurethane reinforced with a plastic helix and a built-in copper grounding wire. Developed for use in clean rooms, this clear, FDA-acceptable hose has a molded cuff that fits tightly
to assure a positive contact between the grounding wire and machinery.

Suitable for material transfer and fume extraction applications, Hi-Tech SDH Series static dissipative vacuum hose has a smooth interior, is clear, free of fillers, does not outgas, and operates from -20°F to 180°F. Highly flexible and abrasion resistant, this hose is inherently static dissipative and comes in ¾" to 4" I.D. sizes in standard 25 and 50 ft. lengths; with or without cuffs.
