Vacuum Hold-Down System Protects Wood And Laminate Finishes


A new, highly flexible vacuum hold-down system that easily positions work for routing, drilling, sanding, and finishing operations, without leaving marks, is being introduced by Anver Corporation of Hudson, Massachusetts.

The Anver Vacuum-Operated Wood Vice securely holds projects on a stable pedestal stand which offers flexible vertical and horizontal positioning with height adjustments from 29" to 45". Eliminating mechanical clamps which can damage the material, this vacuum hold-down system has two 6" dia. rubber vacuum pads, a 115 VAC electric vacuum pump, gage, and foot control.

Available in two-pad and four-pad floor models and a single-pad benchtop version which can also be mounted on a service cart, Anver Vacuum-Operated Wood Vices are self contained and can be customized with special types of pads and controls. Besides providing a secure work surface, they also position work at the proper ergonomic work height to help prevent injuries.
