Clippard Vacuum Generator With 3-Way Valve
CINCINNATI, OHIO - Clippard Instrument Laboratory, Inc. announces the addition of a new vacuum generator to its valve product line. It is a combination venturi vacuum generator and fully ported 3-way valve. Both units are contained in a single modular plug-in body for simplicity and ease of installation. The user is able to control the pressure to the vacuum generator or vacuum from the generator.
This modular unit can be used as a stand-alone device or as part of a larger pneumatic circuit. The 3-way valve is of proven Clippard modular valve design utilizing micro gap construction for a very short stroke of the balanced spool. The vacuum may be used for pick, place, and hold applications, or liquid drawback circuits. It is an energy efficient alternative to both electric and multi-stage air powered pumps.
