Revvo Caster Introduces New V-Groove Precision Bearing Cast-Iron Wheel
(May 2003) - The Revvo Caster Company, Inc., West Seneca, New York announces the introduction of its V-Groove Precision Bearing Cast-Iron Wheel to provide ease of movement when towing heavy loads along inverted angle iron rail tracks used for in the construction of manufactured homes, general construction, mining, and in processing and manufacturing plants.
Revvo states that its new V-Groove Precision Bearing Cast Iron Wheels combine strength and shock resistance with long life and economy. The wheels have very low tractive resistance and can withstand temperature extremes that would destroy plastic or tire wheels. They are designed as an economical choice for use where rough service conditions prevail.
The new V-Groove wheels are constructed of cast iron and feature a precision ball journal bearing for strength and durability, according to Revvo. They are available in wheel diameters of 3", 4", 5" 6", and 8" with load capacities ranging from 450 lbs. to 2,000 lbs. Six groove widths are available measuring 1-3/8", 1-5/16", 1-7/16", 1-1/2", 1-3/4", and 1-13/16". Shaft lengths come in three sizes: 1-3/4", 2-1/4" and 2-1/8". Hub diameters measure 3/4", 20mm and 25mm. Standard painted finish is a clear resin shellac.
