UVDI Awarded US Patent 6,979,103 for Altru-V V-Flex Design
Valencia, California, January 17, 2006 -On December 27, 2005 UVDI was awarded a design patent associated with the Altru-V brand V-Flex Model product design. The US patent 6,979,103 is titled "UltraViolet Lamp Standards and Methods of Use Thereof". Issuance of this patent continues to display UVDI's commitment to provide innovative design solutions to the HVAC industry.
The V-Flex Series provides unparalleled flexibility and UV intensity for HVAC applications which require control and treatment for viruses and bacteria in air streams at flow rates ranging from 2,000 to in excess of 100,000 cfm.
