UV-Resistant Wrap Provides Abrasion Protection
A line of spirally cut polyethylene wrap that bundles and protects hoses on automobile transport carriers and other equipment that is exposed to direct sunlight is available from M.M. Newman Corp. of Marblehead, Massachusetts.
Heli-Tube® UV-Resistant Spirally Cut Polyethylene Wrap neatly bundles and protects hoses against abrasion in outdoor environments where flexibility is required, and permits breakouts and anchoring. Unaffected by direct sunlight, fuels, oils, detergents, and saltwater, it is ideally suited for
use on automotive transport carriers, trucks, and constiuction equipment.
Featuring a large 1-1/2" O.D. size that can bundle hoses up to 10" dia., Heli-Tube® UV-Resistant Spirally Cut Polyethylene Wrap is UL recognized and comes in 10 sizes ranging from 1/8" to l-1/2". Easy to apply by hand, without tools, this wrap conforms to ASTM-D-1044, Federal Spec. LP 390 for abrasion resistance and meets MIL-I-631D and MIL-P-26692 specifications.
