UV Conversion Screen is suited for short pulsed lasers.

Press Release Summary:

With spectral range of 300-370 nm, conversion screens are based on doped polymer film, which is luminescent (red) when exposed to UV radiation. Polymer and dopant allow viewing of short-pulsed strong UV laser beams with power density as high as 10,000 MW/cm². Transparent nature of product aids in adjustment optical set-up. Products feature luminescence lifetime of up to 0.5 ms.

Original Press Release:

UV Conversion Screen for Short Pulsed Lasers from Sara

Sara has developed a new generation of conversion screens for UV radiation from 300 nm to 370 nm. These screens are based on doped polymer film, which is strongly luminescence (red) when exposed to UV radiation. The long luminescence lifetime (up to 0.5 ms) makes seeing the UV radiation pattern easy. A great Special Feature of the Sara UV Conversion Screen is it is transparent, allowing easy adjustment of your optical set-up.

The unique polymer and dopant allow viewing of short-pulsed strong UV laser beams with a power density as high as 10 000 MW/cm² (20 ps, 10 Hz, 355 nm). The Sara Conversion Screen only needs a few milliwatt/cm² (cw) of power to illuminate.
