Fusion UV Introduces Three Distinct Models of UV Curing Chambers
GAITHERSBURG, MD, May 31, 2002 - Fusion UV Systems, Inc. is pleased to introduce three new UV Curing Chambers, designed for the uniform curing of small parts and assemblies. Ideal for use in a wide range of applications from laboratory to pilot plant to light volume manufacturing, each chamber offers static UV exposure from seconds to minutes. Each curing chamber comes with top mounts for exposing the sample to the optimum amount of light in an 'out-of-focus' position. "These chambers expand our capabilities to serve the curing of small parts and especially three dimensional parts", commented Janet Geyer, Sr. Product Manager. The chambers also feature safety shielding and interlocks to protect personnel.
First is the DRE-3 UV curing chamber designed for use with the PowerCure 3 UV curing system. This lightweight and inexpensive chamber is made of see thru acrylic but is tough enough to shield employees from harmful ultraviolet rays. This chamber comes standard with exposure shelves that can be combined to raise the sample 2 to 6-inches from the bottom.
The Standard Model DRE6-110 is a curing chamber built for the PowerCure 3 and all 6-inch lamp modules. Made of metal, this unit is available with the adjustable sample stage or with an optional turntable and exposure timer.
The Deluxe Model DRE6/10-10 is available for use with Fusion's high-powered 6- and 10-inch microwave-powered UV lamp systems. Featuring heat shielding and an adjustable speed turntable, a shielded viewing port allows viewing during curing. Choose to mount the irradiator from the top or from the side.
