UTStarcom to Exhibit Full Suite of Broadband, Wireless and Switching Solutions at ITU Telecom World 2006


ALAMEDA, Calif., Nov 21, 2006 -- UTStarcom, Inc. (Nasdaq: UTSI), a global leader in IP-based, end-to-end networking solutions and services, today announced that the company will display its innovative portfolio of IP networking and telecommunications solutions at the company's booth (Booth #3001 in Hall 3) at ITU Telecom World 2006. The show runs from December 4-8, 2006 at the AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong.

In addition to displaying its full array of handsets, broadband, wireless and switching solutions, UTStarcom will also have live demonstrations of its MovingMedia(TM) 2000 all-IP CDMA2000 network solution; IP-based Personal Access System (iPAS(TM)); RollingStream(TM) end-to-end IPTV system; MobileCard modular mobile phone technology; and Continuity(TM) integrated fixed-mobile convergence solution.
