UTC Aerospace Systems Displays New VIP Seating at NBAA 2012


CHARLOTTE, N.C. - UTC Aerospace Systems, a unit of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX); will display the latest business jet seating, highly engineered for comfort and reliability at the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) show taking place in Orlando, Fla. from October 30 through November 1.

Seating solutions, on booth 400, include the new Majlis seat, a 16G divan, an electric divan and the Nexus seat completing the business jet product portfolio on display.

The Majlis is the latest development in the Interiors family of VIP seating systems, offering comfort, weight savings and simple installation. It is dynamically certified to TSO C127a standards and its lightweight construction makes for quick installation on existing aircraft seat track. The seat provides exceptional passenger comfort with its combined electric berthing and recline function, electric leg rest and hidden headrest.

Additionally, the Nexus fully configurable seat will be on display to NBAA visitors wishing to experience the wider adjustable seat pan with full flat recline and 360 degree swivel capabilities. The Nexus seat also offers as additional options a full electric recline, foot rest and head rest.
