UST Mamiya Optimizes Their Multi-National Supply Chain with Abas

UST Mamiya has chosen abas to support multi-site manufacturing

Sterling, VA – abas-USA has announced that UST Mamiya has chosen abas Business Suite to optimize their multi-national supply chain.

UST Mamiya is a multi-national manufacturing company, which has been producing innovative golf shafts since 1991. The corporate focus on quality, performance and feel are rooted in the engineering history of the products, which have been awarded "Best in Show" by golfwrx.com in 2013. Additionally, this year, a UST Mamiya PROFORCE VTS shaft was used by the winner of the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am.

Before abas Business Suite, they were running transactions for multiple locations with ERP software that was only available to the US division.

The manufacturing location in Bangladesh was using spreadsheets to track inventory and production, which resulted in duplicate data entry. A system that supports multi-site manufacturing gives them the ability to integrate sales forecasts, which improves their ability to plan for the long lead time material requirements for product demands.

abas Business Apps help where English is a second language Barb Turner, Systems Administrator and project lead for UST Mamiya said the following about abas Business Suite. In addition, the intuitive abas interface and ease of use helps our users to adopt the software."

According to Alan Salton, President of abas-USA, "UST Mamiya went through a long selection process trying to find the ideal ERP solution for their multi-national supply chain. Given their long lead times for materials, forecast requirements, and state of the art product mix, we felt certain that abas would help optimize their business. Our international presence, multi-language mad multi-capabilities, robust functionality and flexible interface made the choice obvious. I am certain that we will have a great and successful project."
