The Integration of DES MedAct and UPS Logistics Technologies Roadnet Anywhere(TM) Will Help Customers Increase Efficiency and Decrease Transportation Costs
DALLAS, Oct. 2 / / -- Today, Dynamic Energy Systems, Inc. (DES) announced that it has been selected by UPS Logistics Technologies, a business unit of UPS, to partner with them in providing an integrated vehicle optimization and tracking solution for the medical equipment industry. Roadnet Anywhere, UPS Logistics Technologies' transportation logistics management software, is now seamlessly integrated with DES's MedAct software to provide users with one solution for inventory control, warehouse management, transportation logistics, delivery tracking and billing from order entry to accounts receivable.

Roadnet Anywhere is an On-Demand (hosted) transportation management solution designed to help smaller companies manage their delivery fleets. The solution is comprised of complementary modules that address distribution processes such as daily route planning, driver dispatching, real-time GPS tracking and reporting. MedAct is a HIPAA compliant medical billing solution for durable and home medical equipment sales that provides electronic billing, automated claims, record keeping, accounts receivable tracking and more. MedAct can be On-Demand (hosted) or purchased software.
After cost of goods sold, transportation costs typically represent the single largest expense to companies managing a delivery fleet. Roadnet Anywhere has proven through its existing customer base that it is able to save customers at least 10% and often much more on their delivery expenses. With MedAct, efficiencies in the billing cycle are gained through automation, thus saving time and costs. The integrated solution allows customers to track equipment from warehouse to purchase and see all costs associated with a sale.
