Filtravac(TM) 14" and 18" Upright Vacs
St. Louis-Clarke's UL and CSA approved 14" and 18" FILTRAVAC(TM) Upright Vacuums utilize a unique four step, dual motor filtration system that filters better than the competition - insuring improved environment protection. Where comparable units with single motor systems force dirty air through fan blades and back into the environment, FILTRAVAC's(TM) carry soiled air through both a paper filter, vac motor filter, and an exhaust filter before returning air back into the environment.
FILTRAVAC's(TM) are lightweight and designed with a built-in carrying handle. Convenient foot actuated, three-position height adjustment allows the FILTRAVAC(TM) to be used on all carpeted surfaces. A foot operated lever lowers the handle automatically; starting brush motor when handle is put in working position; an indicator brush light tells operator when the brush is idle. The low profile of FILTRAVAC's(TM) allows the stiff, double chevron brush head to glide easily under sofas, chairs and into those hard-to-reach areas.
Featuring an indicator light mounted on top of the tank, The FILTRAVAC(TM) alerts the operator when the collector bag is full or clogged. Both the 14" and 18" FILTRAVAC's(TM) are top filled providing maximum bag capacity while prolonging the need to empty or replace. The 7 ft. crush-proof hose and easy access wand make the FILTRAVAC(TM) ideal for vacuuming hard-to-reach areas on or above the floor. Large rear mounted wheels make FILTRAVAC's(TM) easy to push when vacuuming or transporting.
