UPM RFID and Partners to Exhibit NFC and RFID Innovations at RFID Journal Live! 2012


UPM RFID, Tampere - UPM RFID is joining with partners Cellotape, ChronoTrack, Mid-South Marking Systems and Seeonic to present the latest NFC and RFID solutions and applications at the tenth annual RFID Journal Live! Conference, April 3-5 at Walt Disney World, Swan and Dolphin Resort in Orlando, Florida.

Visitors to Booth #512 will experience:

o Cellotape displaying an assortment of printed products including encoded NFC tags featuring variable printed data aligned with variable encoded data. These products cover multiple industries, from the tech world to table tents and smart poster tags to business cards.

o ChronoTrack demonstrating a timing system including a MiniTrack Controller with an attached antenna for running events like marathons, 10Ks and 5Ks, and triathlons.

o Mid-South Marking Systems presenting an EPC tagging solution with a chip-based serialization approach to be deployed out of the box at any worldwide location. The system features the UPM Belt(TM) UHF inlay and the Zebra R110xi4 RFID Printer / Encoder.

o Seeonic demonstrating the Seeonic SightWare® solution with an RFID reader module, utilizing UPM Frog(TM) UHF tags to view and monitor real-time inventory and decision support recommendations for replenishment via a web browser. Seeonic's SightWare® is one of ten solutions nominated for the 2012 Best in Show Award.

UPM RFID will be holding educational sessions on near field communication (NFC) at its NFC & Security Lounge (Europe Room 6) together with NXP Semiconductors on Wednesday and Thursday, April 4-5. Participants at the NFC and Security sessions will learn about the latest innovative applications and deployments from the industry's leading authorities.

At RFID Journal Live, UPM RFID is showcasing two new inlays, with the NXP UCODE G2iL chip offering high quality and extended memory features for a range of applications. Several UHF products will also be upgraded to the UCODE G2iM. In addition, UPM RFID will be displaying the familiar UPM Web(TM) and UPM Trap(TM) UHF inlays with the new high-performance Monza(TM) 5 chip.
