New 22U 1075 Millimeter Rack Joins HP 11000 G2 Series Line
Model for smaller IT departments, branch offices and SMBs at an affordable price
Houston — HP today added a 22U 1075 millimeter rack to the 11000 G2 Series family. The 22U 11000 G2 Series Rack is ideal for smaller IT departments, branch offices, or small-to-medium businesses (SMB). The smaller size still packs the benefits of the 42U version. The racks are universal racks designed for the modern data center to fit a wide range of HP and third-party equipment while providing high weight capacity, enhanced airflow design, and durable construction. Available as a pallet or shock rack, which can be ordered empty or configured, these racks are HP Location Discovery Services compatible to auto-log and track server ID and U location at time of installation and for future ease of maintenance and tracking.
Several customization kits are available such as the HP Cable Management Bracket kit. For companies interested in placing their name at the top of the rack, the Custom Door Branding kit allows the installation of a bezel with the company's name. The Baying kit enables the connection of multiple racks. The Airflow Optimization kit enables the installation of foam rail gaskets to improve separation between hot and cold aisles in the data center.
Improvements over the previous 10000 Series racks include weight capacities up to 3000 pounds static, an 81 percent open perforated door for enhanced airflow and cooling, quick-installation brackets and cables for power, and compatibility with HP Location Discovery Services for asset tracking.
