Exar Announces 800MHz Universal Quad Clock for Complex Timing Solutions
Generates Any Frequency with Configurable LVCMOS/LVDS/LVPECL Outputs
FREMONT, Calif. -- Exar Corporation (NYSE: EXAR), a leading supplier of high-performance integrated circuits and system solutions, announces the XR81411, a quad output, high frequency LVCMOS/LVDS/LVPECL configurable clock synthesizer. It generates any frequency in the range of 10MHz to 800MHz with four independent PLLs, utilizing a highly flexible delta-sigma modulator and a wide ranging VCO. The clock outputs have very low phase noise jitter of sub 0.2ps while consuming extremely low power.
The XR81411 can be used with a standard crystal or an external system clock and each independent output can be configured to select from four different frequency multiplier settings to support a wide variety of applications. Each clock synthesizer includes an integer/fractional divider allowing output frequency resolution of less than 2Hz intervals.
