Universal Loop Display Features Extra-Large Indicator and Metal Housing that Mounts in Rugged Field Environments

NORTH HILLS, CALIF., FEB. 27, 2002 --Moore Industries' SPD Programmable Field-Mount Loop Display (NEMA 4X, IP66) accepts a 4-20mA input and indicates real-time process status in mA, percent, or any designated engineering unit with the superior accuracy of ±0.012% of input scale. The SPD features a rugged metal housing and an extra-large 1.15-inch, 5-digit display with a back-lighting option that makes for easy viewing at long distances or in dimly lit conditions.

Configuration can be easily achieved by using either a single window in the Intelligent PC Configuration Software, or by making adjustments in the field with the unit's front panel controls. A library of available square root and linear curves are provided, or the user can build a custom curve using up to 128 linearization points.

The loop-powered SPD operates on less than 2.3 volts and won't burden most loops. The rugged metal construction provides resistance to the harmful effects of RFI/EMI interference, and mounts on most surfaces or 2-inch pipes.
