Economic Universal Grinder Does the Work of Two Machines

Arlington Heights -- August 23, 2004 -- Toyoda's SelectG is an affordable universal grinder designed for flexible, precise grinding of small lots.

The wheelhead rotates from 90 to 60 degrees to accommodate either a straight or angle grinding wheel. This feature expands the capability of a single machine without the added investment of a full CNC-controlled wheelhead, or a second dedicated grinder. The changeover between wheels is a simple manual procedure. Guides ensure precise wheelhead positioning. A swing-down ID attachment is optional.

The grinding specific control has many features to speed set up. A variety of built-in grinding and dressing patterns for all three wheels and automatic wheel dressing are just a few.

For a demonstration of this grinder's capabilities, visit Toyoda at booth #8018 during IMTS 2004.
