United Grinding Event to Showcase Advancements in PCD Tool Manufacturing
Attendees to experience latest technology and solution ideas in hard fine machining
MIAMISBURG, Ohio – United Grinding North America, Inc. welcomes manufacturers to its Fredericksburg, Va., facility on Nov. 20 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. to experience the latest technology and trends in PCD tool manufacturing.
During this special one-day event, United Grinding will present live demonstrations on the latest hard fine machining solutions from its WALTER and EWAG brands, the comprehensive system and solution providers for complete tool machining.
WALTER and EWAG manufacture grinding, eroding, laser and CNC measuring machines that produce and resharpen cutting tools and parts made from superhard, difficult-to-machine materials such as PCD, CBN, CVD-D, ceramics, cermet, carbide, cobalt chrome and HSS.
The event will also feature technical presentations on a wide variety of PCD-related topics, including advancements in PCD tool technology and machining solutions for complex geometries, grinding wheels for superhard materials, superhard material science, advancements in brazing technology and coolant basics.
United Grinding will provide guests with a catered lunch as well as private meeting rooms for project discussion. A special evening event is also part of the agenda.
