Unisys Stealth Named as Finalist for 2014 American Business Awards in Security Software Category

Awards honor innovation and excellence across a range of U.S. business segments

BLUE BELL, Pa. — The Unisys Stealth™ Solution was named a finalist for the 2014 American Business Awards in the category of New Product of the Year, Software Security Solution division. As a finalist, Unisys Stealth will ultimately win a Gold, Silver, or Bronze Stevie Award when the awards are presented in San Francisco on September 12.

"This announcement represents the second time this year that Unisys Stealth was recognized for a major technology or business award," said Rod Sapp, vice president, security and cloud products, Unisys Corporation (NYSE: UIS). "At a time when cyber attacks are on the rise, Stealth takes a radically new approach to protecting an organization's vital assets from increasingly sophisticated criminals. We're thrilled to see this growing recognition of Stealth and the value it can bring to our clients."

In May, Stealth won the TechAmerica Foundation's American Technology Award recognizing the most outstanding cybersecurity product in the U.S. technology sector. Stealth was selected for the award from among 12 entrants in the cybersecurity category.

Unisys Stealth uses advanced data protection and encryption technologies to help organizations mitigate cybersecurity attacks and hacker incidents by rendering devices, data and end users undetectable on the network. The solution creates secure "communities of interest" within an enterprise where only authorized users can access information. Users outside those communities cannot access the information, or even know that it exists.

More than 3,300 American Business Awards nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories. Finalists were chosen by more than 150 business professionals nationwide during preliminary judging in April and May. Several specialized judging committees will determine Stevie Award placements from among the finalists during final judging, to take place May 13-22.
