Unified Communications Solution from Munich-Based ANDTEK Makes Working with PC and Telephone More Effective

With "AND Communicator", users can telephone via their computer
(softphone) and operate, receive and pass on calls with a mouse-click. The Munich-based unified-communications specialist ANDTEK GmbH will be demonstrating this high-quality communication software at the SYSTEMS trade fair held in Munich from 23-26 October (Networking Science Centre, Hall B1, Stand 307).
This unified-communications solution features manifold functions which ensure users can work effectively with their PC/Mac and, at the same time, with their deskphone. With incoming calls, additional up-to-date information on the company making the call can be displayed through access to directories and databases. From MS Outlook, for instance, telephone numbers can be dialled and the call made either on the deskphone or the softphone as the user wishes.
With "AND Communicator", several deskphones can be used simultaneously and the softphone operated as well. During this process the user can easily execute other additional business applications. "AND Communicator" uses SIP as communications protocol and can be employed flexibly with most providers and telephone installations.
At the SYSTEMS trade fair in Munich ANDTEK will show how business processes can be optimized using convergent data, language and video communication (unified communications) and how companies can work more efficiently. ANDTEK will also be unveiling its unified communications solutions at the "CIPTUG 2007 Annual Conference", which will be held in Austin, Texas from 29 October to 1 November 2007 (Austin Convention Center, Hall 4, Stand 614).
