W.A.C. Lighting Introduces New Interconnect Undercabinet Xenon Lighting System

GARDEN CITY, NY--- Building on its widely used line of undercabinet lighting, W.A.C. Lighting has introduced the Interonnect Undercabinet Low Voltage Xenon Lighting System. W.A.C. Lighting is a manufacturing leader of track, recessed, undercabinet and monorail lighting.

The new Xenon Light Bars are state-of-the-art undercabinet lighting fixtures that feature long-life xenon lamps. Conveniently designed for easy and quick installation, Xenon Light Bars are crafted for fast wiring, using "Poke-home connectors" that eliminate the need for wire nuts. In addition, all fixtures are modular and are designed for end-to-end connection without additional wiring, for a continuous run throughout the space. Only one hard-wire connection is required per run, and a cord and plug set are available for optional plug-in operation.

The new Xenon Light Bars are equipped with W.A.C. Lighting's low voltage electronic transformers with auto-reset, which protects the transformer against overloads and short circuits. The fixtures are also engineered with soft-start technology to provide longer lamp life.

Xenon Light Bars are generally dimmable with standard incandescent dimmers.

The Undercabinet Xenon Light Bars are crafted of extruded aluminum and offered in three handsome metal finishes: Bronze, Satin Nickel, and White. They are offered in five styles, including the one-, two-, three-, four-, and six-light fixtures. Sizes range from the 9 1/4"L x 4 1/8"W x 1 1/4"H unit, to the larger 39"L x 4 1/8"W x 1 1/4"H style.

The fixtures use the 12v Xenon Low Voltage Lamp with an average life of 10,000 hours. The one-light fixture operates with a single 18 watt Xenon lamp that produces 264 lumens, while the six-light bar uses six 18-watt Xenon lamps with an output of 1584 lumens.
