NEW iQ Series Integrated Servo Ultrasonic Welding System with Patented Melt-Match® Technology
Dukane Corporation introduces ‘iQ Series Integrated Servo Driven Ultrasonic Welder’ with patented Melt-Match® technology. Integrated Servo is a self-contained unit with Dukane's patented iQ Series Generator/Power Supply housed within the press. This welding system addresses the need of an ‘out of box’ ‘plug and play’ Servo driven Ultrasonic Welder. Since most components are built-in, this welder has fewer cables, is very easy to install and provides a smaller footprint.
In a smaller footprint this machine provides the efficiency and reliability of a 100% digitally controlled, Multi-Core iQ Series power supply with the precision of an advanced servo press. The integrated all-electric servo technology eliminates the variability associated with pneumatic press components resulting in improved process repeatability and accuracy. This high repeatability results in fewer rejects for manufacturers. Melt-Match® technology precisely controls the collapse speed profile during the weld and precisely matches the collapse speed during the melt phase. Thus, the ultrasonic propagation penetrates deeper into the bond area and the affected heat zone is larger, resulting in superior bond strength.
Integrated Servo Welding system has the flexibility to connect with any computer that has Dukane’s iQ Explorer software. This allows access to the weld data, machine controls and storage of machine setups on the local area network or via the Internet for remote locations. Troubleshooting of equipment and applications can also be performed from anywhere in the world. Integrated Servo is also FDA compliant and features a robust mechanical design. There are no operator-accessible settings and all mechanical adjustments require a tool.
