The Mercoid Division of Dwyer Instruments is offering a NEW & INNOVATIVE ULTRASONIC LEVEL TRANSMITTER THE ULT. State of the art sensing technology provides reliable, accurate, non-contact measurement of liquid levels. Long lasting non-contact ultrasonic technology has no wearing parts and nothing to clog or jam. The ULT is perfect for corrosives, slurries, and fluids with solids.
The unit is explosion-proof rated making it ideal for use in hazard locations. FM approved explosion-proof Class I, Div. 1, Groups B, C, D; Class II/III, Div. 1, Groups E, F, G. Perfect for petrochemicals, wastewater, and other hazardous fluids.
The ULT is easy to install and use. Mapping software makes effective measuring surface only a 3½ diameter column. No concerns with ladders, pipes, and other tank intrusions in the remaining sound cone. Features a large LCD display with 4 button programming of simple menu structure. Zero and span are set by inputting tank dimensions or just push programming button at actual tank conditions. Failsafe output options and diagnostic capabilities make the ULT a good choice for critical applications.
