UL Unveils Suite of Software Solutions Integrating Expertise and Innovation into Workplace Health and Safety Programs

Newest versions of Occupational Health Manager®, PureSafety and SYSTOC increase employee efficiency and productivity, reduce workplace illness and injury

FRANKLIN, Tenn. – UL Workplace Health and Safety today announced the most significant product upgrades in the company's history, all designed to meet business demands for tailored solutions that maximize employee efficiency and productivity, minimize workplace hazards, streamline workflow and reduce costs.

In releasing Occupational Health Manager (OHM) 7.5, SYSTOC 7.4 and PureSafety 7.0, UL demonstrates dedication to its expanded mission and vision of helping to protect employees and create safe working environments.

"These substantial enhancements to OHM, PureSafety and SYSTOC reflect our commitment to facilitate collaboration between health and safety in order to help our customers create workplaces free of illness and injury," said Bill Grana, president of UL Workplace Health and Safety. "Inspired by customer feedback, our advancements are designed to break down barriers to information sharing and streamline processes between health and safety teams. This level of engagement is a key component of building and sustaining a strong culture of safety and overall workforce health protection and promotion."

OHM enables occupational health, safety and medical professionals to streamline occupational health operations and better analyze and report data. The system features a secure Health Portal where employees can schedule appointments, complete necessary consent forms and questionnaires prior to a clinic visit and print their vaccination records - all of which can be done without the employee having to contact the clinic or clinician.

The OHM package also now gives occupational health professionals exclusive access to an innovative iPad app that tracks vaccinations across large populations, making it easier to manage large-scale employee vaccination campaigns and maintain compliance with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

PureSafety gives employees an active role in shaping the safety culture of their organization by enabling them to report and log injuries, near misses, hazards, observations or other incidents that happen in the workplace. PureSafety connects with OHM, allowing for improved data sharing and coordination of health and safety efforts. This enables organizations to more effectively reduce workplace injuries and illnesses; enhance management of compliance and medical surveillance programs and improve awareness of critical health and safety issues.

With SYSTOC, occupational medicine clinics are better able to care for employees and communicate with laboratories by eliminating medical transcription and simplifying the documentation of patient visits in real time.
