UL Panels for ConAgra, Russellville, AR Shipping

Control Systems Service has completed a set of custom control panels built under the Underwriters Laboratory UL508A, Industrial Control Panels certification program, to run a new conveyor system bound for ConAgra.
The new panels are custom designed with PLC integrated controls to operate the conveyor system. The conveyors feeds a new palletizing system being installed to improve production capacity in ConAgra's Frozen Foods division, Russellville, Arkansas. The PLC communication protocol is based on Ethernet and will connect directly to the plants intranet system managed by ConAgra's IT department. The panels operate 7 conveyor lines and a spiral conveyor lift system to transport product overhead and through the plant to the new palletizers.
The new panels and control system will provide an efficient, managed conveyor system that will improve plant efficiency and put plant floor production data at their finger tips in real time.
