SANTA CLARA, Calif., September 22, 2004 - Recognizing a need for rugged and reliable radio communication between RTK controlled heavy equipment and RTK reference stations, Pacific Crest Corporation announces today the release of Sitecom(TM), a new member of its PDL Product family.
Sitecom is a field-hardened UHF/VHF radio modem designed to mount on heavy equipment. Its completely sealed all-metal design incorporates magnetic and permanent mount systems. Compatible with other PDL products, the unit can be mounted inside our outside of the heavy equipment cab.
Sitecom is FCC and ETS approved for operation in the United States, Europe and other countries around the world. It is compatible with all major GPS systems designed for agriculture and construction applications.
