This desktop RFID reader is compliant with both EPC Class1 Gen 1 and Gen 2 protocols. It operates in the frequency band of 860MHz to 960MHz thus supporting both North America and EU standards.
The standalone UHF Gen 2 RFID reader, model 236007, provides a maximum reading distance of 50cm and allows users to choose from a variety of configuration options via a user-friendly Web browser interface. This ultra-high frequency RFID reader/writer is shipped with a software development kit (SDK) that facilitates the development of user-specific requirements.
