VCO: CLV0625B-LF Features Ultra Low Phase Noise



Z-Communications, Inc. announces a new RoHS compliant VCO (Voltage-Controlled Oscillator) model CLV0625B-LF in UHF-band. The CLV0625B-LF operates at 540-710 MHz with a tuning voltage range of 0.5-11.5 Vdc. This VCO features a typical phase noise of -114 dBc/Hz @ 10 KHz offset and a typical tuning sensitivity of 20 MHz/V.

The CLV0625B-LF is designed to deliver a typical output power of 1 dBm at 3.3 Vdc supply while drawing 27 mA (typical) over the temperature range of -40º to 85º C. This VCO features typical second harmonic suppression of -15 dBc and comes in Z-Comm's standard MINI-14S-LOW package measuring 0.5 in. x 0.5 in. x 0.16 in. It is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements. The CLV0625B-LF is also ideal for automated surface mount assembly and reflow.
