VCO: V580ME09-LF Features Linear Tuning & Ultra Low Phase Noise
SAN DIEGO, August 26, 2008: Z-Communications, Inc. announces a new RoHS compliant VCO (Voltage-Controlled Oscillator) model V580ME09-LF in UHF-band. The V580ME09-LF operates from 805 - 825 MHz with a tuning voltage range of 0.5-4.5 Vdc. This VCO features an excellent phase noise of -111 dBc/Hz @ 10 KHz offset (typ) and a typical tuning sensitivity of 42 MHz/V.
The V580ME09-LF is designed to deliver a typical output power of 5.5 dBm at 5 Vdc supply while drawing 21 mA (typical) over the temperature range of -30º to 85º C. This VCO has linear tuning and comes in Z-Comm's industry standard MINI package with low shield measuring 0.50 in. x 0.50 in. x 0.13 in. It is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements. The V580ME09-LF is also ideal for automated surface mount assembly and reflow.
