Ultra Low Phase Noise VCO 390-430 MHz



SAN DIEGO, March 5, 2009: Z-Communications, Inc. announces a new RoHS compliant VCO (Voltage-Controlled Oscillator) model CRO0410A-LF in UHF band. The CRO0410A-LF operates from 390-430 MHz with a tuning voltage range of 0.5-4.5 Vdc. This VCO features a typical phase noise of -117 dBc/Hz @ 10 KHz offset and a typical tuning sensitivity of 17 MHz/V.

The CRO0410A-LF is designed to deliver a typical output power of -4 dBm at 5 Vdc supply while drawing 36 mA (typical) over the temperature range of -30º to 70º C. This VCO features typical 2nd harmonic suppression of -15 dBc and comes in Z-Comm's industry standard MINI-16 package measuring 0.5 in. x 0.5 in. x 0.22 in. It is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements. The CRO0410A-LF is also ideal for automated surface mount assembly and reflow.
