U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command Awards Leidos Prime Contract

Company to Provide Technical Solutions in Support of the Counter-Narcoterrorism Technology Program Office

RESTON, Va. - Leidos (NYSE: LDOS), a science and technology solutions company, was awarded a prime contract by the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command to provide technical solutions in support of the Counter-Narcoterrorism Technology Program Office (CNTPO). The multiple-award indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract has a two-year base period of performance, two option years, and a total programmatic contract ceiling of approximately $480 million for all awardees, if all options are exercised. Leidos is one of four contractors eligible to compete for work under the contract.

The CNPTO develops technology for interagency and multinational operations to disrupt, deter, and deny narcoterrorist activities in an effort to reduce trafficking in illegal narcotics and materials that support global terrorist activities. Under the contract, Leidos will provide technical solutions and mission support, for command, control, communications, information, detection and monitoring technology and systems to disrupt and degrade the national security threats posed by drug trafficking, piracy, transnational organized crime, and threat finance networks reasonably related to illicit drug trafficking activities.

"We're proud to apply our advanced technical solutions in support of the Counter-Narcoterrorism Technology Program Office to stem the flow of international drug trafficking," said Leidos Group President, John Fratamico.
