New Manual Override Feature on Magnatrol Solenoid Valves for Cryogenic Applications Enables Manual Opening of Valve During Power Failure or to Override Automatic Controls
Magnatrol Valve Corporation, an industry-leading manufacturer of full-port, internal pilot operated, and direct acting solenoid valves, now offers a manual override option on its two-way bronze and stainless steel solenoid valves for a wide range of cryogenic applications.
Designed to allow manual opening of the valves in the event of power failure or to override automatic controls, the new override is available on normally closed Type L and M (Bronze) and Type J and K (Stainless Steel) valves to handle liquid oxygen to (-270°), argon (-303°), and nitrogen (-320°).
The valves fit pipe sizes from 3/8” up to 3”, feature continuous duty coils for all AC/DC voltages, and are available with a wide range of options including position indicators, NEMA 4X explosion proof and watertight models, and many more. All valves are fully tested, degreased, and cleaned to keep them free of moisture.
Standard shipment is 3-7 working days with rush orders shipped same or next day. Special applications/alloys and custom engineering are available along with a wide range of industry standard options. Every valve is manufactured and tested in house.
