Two-Stage Ejectors offer cut-to-length adaptability.
Press Release Summary:
Hardened-Steel, Two-Stage Ejectors offer Bottom Last and Top Last styles in 20, 26, and 32 mm diameters. They control sequence of movement of 2 sets of ejector plate assemblies inside mold's ejector box. Both first stage and second stage strokes can be set independently. Once ejector system is installed, fixed strokes cannot be tampered with or accidentally modified. Latching mechanism eases set-up and ensures smooth operation.

D-M-E 2-Stage Ejectors Unique Design Solution for Mold Builders
2-stage ejectors systems provide precision control, cut-to-length adaptability, protected internal mounting, two ejection system, and multiple sizes
December 2003 - Unique design solution for mold builders, D-M-E 2-Stage Ejectors combine cut-to-length adaptability to varying mold base sizes and plate thicknesses with internal installation to avoid interferences with water line connectors and externally mounted components. Hardened steel for long life, the D-M-E 2-Stage Ejector line offers two styles of ejection, Bottom Last (BL) and Top Last (TL), and three sizes - 20 mm, 26 mm and 32mm diameter - to accommodate most metric or inch standards D-M-E mold bases.
The stroke range for each ejection stage is achieved by cutting the center rod to desired length (BL and TL) types and by cutting a threaded sleeve to length (BL type only).
The D-M-E 2-stage ejection system controls the sequence of movement of two sets of ejector plate assemblies inside the mold's ejector box. Both the first stage and second stage strokes can be set independently. Once the ejector system is installed, fixed strokes cannot be tampered with or accidentally modified.
The 2-Stage Ejectors utilizes a latching mechanism similar to the proven D-M-E Internal Latch Lock, ensuring smooth operation. The latching mechanism enables easy set-up of timing.
